Review: This review is so long overdue, since I absolutely love this book – scratch that, actually, I love the whole series, but for the moment, lets just focus on reviewing this book.

10-wedding-crashers-quotes

Yelena has been arrested for murdering a general’s son (in my opinion, he really deserved it), and is set to hang for it, but then she’s given the chance to live – for an indefinite period of time though.

“A fool would refuse the job.” My voice rasped louder this time.

“What shall I tell the executioner?” Valek asked.

“I am not a fool.”

First, lets talk about Valek himself. The fandom’s general consensus seems to be that Tom Hiddleston is the perfect Valek, and I’m inclined to agree. He’s tough on the outside, and on a lot of the inner layers, but he really has a heart of gold and he’s loyal, and….eep. I just love him so so much, and I fangirl so much when I think about him. Lets move on and do some actual reviewing.
Keep Calm and Blog on
The whole book is action-packed from start to finish, and you’ll be pulled in from the very first page. There is romance in it, but the romance isn’t the main focus of the book, which I absolutely love. You can have a gripping book without a whole load of romance in there as well.
I have re-read these books so many times over the last year, and I think that I read all three Study books in like half a week the first time. I think this series is so underrated, and more people should be reading it. If you like magic, and action, and a hot, sexy assassin, then this is a book you should be picking up right now.
